Wau… Long time I never update my blog…
What happened to me recently? (This maybe the question asked by most of my blog visitor)
Actually the last two weeks I had been busy to ready the album for the event before this. Jane and me keep on looking for the right material for our album and the printing process really ‘headache’.
The Story about Photo Printing
This time we developed our photos at the FujiCenter, at the Menara Axis PJ, near to Asia Jaya Putra LRT. This place recommended by one of our senior.
When Jane pass the memory card to the staff of the Fujifilm, the staff very confidence to tell Jane that he can ready the 336 photos within half an hour. After one hour when Jane wanna get the photos from him only he tell Jane that when the time he ‘CTRL X’ the files to his desktop, something happened to the desktop and at the end all the files DELETED…
WTH… This stupid idiot who work in this company for 3years, dares to tell Jane that he deleted our photos in the memory card. For sure his manager scold him in front of Jane but this doesn’t really help us to settle the case. They try to recover all the files in the memory card (as what I did to my memory card) but Jane’s memory just like mine, got too many files inside of it, so it takes about one day to finish the job.
The next day
When we get the photos only we find out that this so called FujiCenter, they used the OLD Kodak paper to print our photos… they not using their own Fuji Paper but the Kodak paper. There got different in between the two types of paper, I really don’t understand how come the FujiCenter can use Kodak paper to print our photos. (not all the photos… 300 photos in Kodak Paper and the rest in the Fuji Paper)
We decided this will be the last time we visit this place which bring us a lot of nightmare, we don’t wish to come back here anymore.
Forget to tell that 20 photos out of the total cannot be use just because the color totally different from the original files, and another 5-8 photos printed out with the different size. We never do any adjustment on the file but they can print it out with the white border at the side, the white border only at the right and left of the photos, not the whole photo in border, some more is a THICK side-border. WTF…
The moral of the story tell us never develop our photos in this FujiCenter. NEVER…
