My Foundation Photography

Today I’m so happy when my friend, Jane, told me that she received the call from the lecturer that confirm we get the seats at the Photography class. This photography class organizes by a Chinese Photograph Magazine, so the classes will be in Chinese.

This course set with 12 theory classes and 6 outdoor practical classes. It will take me three months to finish it. The classes will be once a week, and the class will be in evening time, two hours class, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. it will starts around middle of September.

This course cost me RM770 included one-year membership and one year magazine supply. Today I only pay for the RM70 for the membership and magazine, the balance only pay on the second class, this’ what the lecturer told us.

Each of the class got different topic or chapter and all this listed on the form I filled in.

Their outdoor classes will be on Sunday and that time we need to ready our SLR. That’s mean this time I really need to buy my own SLR before the practical class start. The lecturer tells us we no need SLR when we in the theory classes, but after 12 weeks of classes and theory class end, then we need the SLR.

I really need to save money to buy my SLR now, no more delay, have to ikat perut liao… ooh… no more shopping in this few months… so sad…

What makes me so excited is when the lecturer told me that one of the practical classes maybe would go to Vietnam. We only need to pay for the returns tickets. Wau, this really makes me cannot wait for the classes to start. So excited…

KL - Bangkok – Pattaya – Bangkok – KL (Part 2)

Since someone was interested on the cost of my trip so I share it here.

We went to this Matta Travel Fair on last March and get this package from Commonwealth Travel Service (M) Sdn Bhd, which their office at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Opposite BB Plaza (two doors next to KFC).

For your information there will be another Matta Travel Fair in this coming September, if I’m not mistaken will start on 7 or 8 of September. Catch it. If I get more information I’ll post it later.

This 5 Days 4 Nights Bangkok Pattaya Tour cost us RM 398 for the tour (RM 368 + RM 30 – ticket of the shows), our return ticket to Bangkok will be RM 343, so all in will be RM 741.00.

Our package under the standard class, they still got the Superior or Superior++, two different classes. The differences in price will be in between RM 50-110.

The package included…

11 Meals – First day dinner, then breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of the days, and breakfast for the last day.

Day one – KL – Bangkok

Their representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel you stay. Dinner will be serving in the hotel that you stay. *The dinner will forfeit if your flight arrive later that 7pm.

Day Two – Bangkok – Pattaya

After the breakfast, they will bring you to the famous Chaophaya River Cruise and visiting the Wat Arun Temple, or known as Temple of Dawn. After that you will visit the Safari World and Marine Theme Park in Bangkok, then all the way to Pattaya. At night, they will bring you to the show at Pattaya.

Day Three – Pattaya

After breakfast, will taking a speedboat ride to Koh Laan Coral Island. There got a lot of water sport such as water ski, parasailing, Jet ski and banana boat, all this under own expenses. In the afternoon will go to Noog Nooch Village for boxing show, traditional dances and elephant show.

Day Four – Pattaya – Bangkok

Depart for Bangkok after the American Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Sriacha Tiger Zoo. Snake farm and Famous Four-Face Buddha will be in the list.

Day Five – Bangkok – KL

This day will be on own leisure, after the breakfast then you all can go for last shopping at Bangkok center. Then they will fetch you to airport.

KL - Bangkok – Pattaya – Bangkok – KL (Part 1)

This the second day after I came back from my Bangkok trip. I’m still working with the photos, I think I need sometimes to get it done before I post it out and share with you.

Trip…

Five of us really enjoy the trip and we all think the same – we need more time to stay there to visit more places. Our time was too rush since we need to visit many places in the five days.

Everyday we wake up early in the morning, around 6 or 7 am, and sleep ‘early’ too, around 3 or 4 am. We cannot keep on complaining tired when we in a trip cause you will kill other peoples mood if you say it. All of our faces written the word of “Tired”.

This was the first time I visit Bangkok, so we chose to follow tour; but after that I felt a bit regret cause we wasted a lot of time on the bus. We did visited a lot places, all these places need to travel at least 45mins, and some of the places we not so interested then that make us feel so boring.

Not saying that all the places we visited were bored us; still got some interesting places like safari world and some nice shows.

Foods…

Most of our meal ready by hotel and restaurant, the tour guide planned our 11 meals in that 5days. Chinese foods, American breakfast, buffer, Thai foods… The foods not too bad as what I thought, cause before we go the travel agent told me that the food the tour guide bring us to maybe not so nice, he highly recommended us to take the food from the stall.

I like the breakfast, most of the hotel serve really nice American breakfast, a lot choices, I can’t even finish try all the food on the table.

What I can’t stand when they serve us the Tom Yam, no matter lunch or dinner, I wish that they can serve some other soup but don’t put the Tom Yam on the table. I remember I only try once then I never touch the Tom Yam anymore.

I like the sausages that they sell at the stall, the moving stall. They got this nice sausage, ‘thick and short’ chicken sausage. Compare with the ‘long and thin’ pork sausage, I like the chicken sausage. Sure someone thinking some naughty stuff at this point . . .

I can’t remember how many coconuts I drank in these five days, I think more than 20. I love coconut drink and they got the coconut that we can’t try it in Malaysia.

Another dessert that I like is their mango sticky rice, I don’t know why the rice so different with the one we eat in here. The rice they use is bigger and longer than the one we use.

Weather

That few days the weather really nice, it’s not too hot, and sometimes it’s rain. I’m so happy when we playing the water sport at Pattaya, the sun hiding up and give us the weather that everyone wishes for.

This will be part of the Bangkok Trip. Coming up I’ll tell more about my trip in details and photos as well.

Welcome back to the Jungle

Yesterday sent Lion King back to the jungle; let him start his jungle life for another 32 weeks.



This time he stays at the 3rd floor of the block and stay with most of the ‘cut-people’. A little PR-Cat welcomes us at the door of his new hostel; see what Lion King did on this PR-Cat.

We (his mum and me) spent 2 hours there help him to clean his room. This guy so lucky cause I saw other student clean their room by themselves and non of the parents will stay there and clean. This Lion King just like a primary school student first goes into the hostel. :p “My dear son, let Ma-ma help you clean up the room first… Stay outside first…”



Me and the mother reached KL around 7.30 in the evening and the mother suggested go for dinner at one of the Japanese restaurant at Jalan Imbi. I purposely sent some photos to Lion King just to make him feel jealous since in the coming few months he can’t try any of the nice food in KL. Hehehe… I know I’m devil enough to make him feel envy.

I didn’t take too many nice shoots for the food since I can’t wait to taste the food, I damn hungry after finished the cleaning job and travelled for 3 hours back from the jungle.



This trip really tired but it also bring me closer to the mother, on the way back we chatted for the whole trip regards her relationship with her husband and the family. Sometimes mommy only wish to talk to someone, this is one of the way to care her. Lion King, you should do this too.



Reach home around 9.45 pm, after finished shower then I start to pack my stuff for the coming trip to Bangkok.

This day enjoy my day with my best friend Andrew at Mid Valley. The feeling so bad when the time I saw something I wanna buy but I can’t, just because my shopping time only start when I arrive in Bangkok.

My Day

On the first day of my long holiday, I get myself a hair cut before I go to Bangkok. As usual I watch the latest movie on the chart. This afternoon I watch Chinese action movie, The Invisible Target by Benny Chan. [synopsis]

This will be the best action movie from Hong Kong Movie Industry, but not the best storyline cause the story same as "Infernal Affairs" and "New Police Story". I still like the storyline of this movie - “Eye in the Sky” [synopsis]. This story telling people what the real paparazzi, but not like the one always try to take the bad photo of others and show it on to the public.

Why the weather so HOT???!!!

I can’t sleep… even now the clock showing the time is 2.16 in the morning, and I know I need to wake up early… but... I still can’t sleep…

I can’t imagine the weather in Bangkok and I think even I cut my hair but still It can’t help too much in this hot weather. *sweating…

Perak Jungle Trip

Coming Saturday I’ll send the Lion back to the jungle. After one year now is the time to send him back to jungle until he finish his study there.

What the bad news is this time Lion will stay at the fifth floor, OMG… I need to help him move his heavy stuff all the way to fifth floor… kill me man… last time was third floor but now…

Lion King, please don’t bring the heavy stuff... Please…

Bangkok Trip

I ready a 28” and another 20” luggage plus another small bag for my Bangkok trip. Nothing much will be in the luggage but only some toiletries and few shirts. This empty luggage is ready to fill in the stuff I will buy from there.

I’m a bit crazy when talking about shopping. :P

This trip we will join the tour trip, 5D4N, 3Days in Bangkok and 2Days in Pattaya.

The first day we will check in around 3pm but we take the early flight from KL to BKK. 8.25am will depart from LCCT and reach BKK around afternoon (after settle everything in the hotel) then we will start our shopping before we join the tour for dinner around 7pm.

After dinner I think we will go for the night market. Listing what to get from the night market. Hehehe…

Still a lot of shopping planning needs to do before we go.

I’m a moody person.

Last second my mood was great but this moment got something I’m not happy with it then the whole day will spoil…

Just like what was happened yesterday, I can’t get the movie that I wanna watch in GSC-BTS, then it’s really kill my mood.

Normally when I facing this kind of situation, I’ll choose a coffee shop, sit there and enjoy my coffee; or else I’ll go to bookstore, get some books or magazine. Only these two places can let me clear my mind, after my mood gets better then only I’ll continue to do something else.

Weird person??? Yes, I’m.

The one can leave all the work aside is my manager. The report from HQ he can just ignore it and wait until someone gets it done. That’s why my area manager wants to transfer him out from the branch…

Happen AGAIN~~~

Yesterday was my first day back to work after the holiday. On leave for five days only but a lot of things happened to our branch.

Some thing happened in between my manager and my area manager, again. My staff told me that my manager suddenly changes his off day. My area manager gives us warning that my manager and me cannot take leave on the same day.

That day my area manager mad with him because he changed his off day and off on the same day with me. Suddenly my area manager wanna transfer him out from our branch. I don’t know why my area manager so angry with him.

I received the call from my area manager and he told me his planning to transfer my manager. He said all this is confirm only need to arrange the manpower for the branch and everything will run as what he planned. He wanna take another two Vietnam staffs whom before this work at our lab. OMG, I gonna train the two pieces of ‘blank paper’, I hate this (training) job. Damn it.

Another issue is who will be my new manager??? That’s made me headache again.

This will be the second time my branch change another manager in this year. Haizzz… Who wanna take over this ‘broken branch’??? Sales figure dropping, man power keep on changing, work with a crazy area manager… OMG…

In this few days I watched 3 movies in SG. My Wife is Gangster 3, The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros and Die Hard 4.0.

Die Hard 4.0 – 3 stars

My Wife is Gangster 3 – I watch it in SG cause in Malaysia only available in Cathay Cineleisure Damansara.

The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros – this movie still haven’t up to the screen in Malaysia. I’m so disappointed with it cause the storyline not as well as I thought. What I can comment are the movie is sucks, damn boring, make me sleepy.

Die Hard 4.0 – Action too perfect. The man didn’t take any meal and not even a single drop of water for the whole daylong. You walk, you run, you talk and you fight, I don’t think you still can run if you never take anything. Superman meh???

Bag…

In this trip I get myself a gym bag. Actually I get it but my friend pay for it, my birthday gift. Eva want me to choose it then she will pay me back cause she knows I’m so fussy.

Bad news…

This morning only I know that my housemate bought the same bag. Tamade… Why… Wanna get another one… :’(

Eye-Candy @ MRT

On the second day in SG, I went out myself to meet with my friend somewhere in Orchard Rd. Before I reach City Hall, I just play game with my Ipod. When the time I waiting to change another train, few white guys stand behind me and they heading to the same way.

These three guys so funny cause they making fun after they saw one uncle on the train wear his pant so high. So naughty.

There got a lot of eye-candy in MRT no matter white guys or Asian. That’s why next time when you inside the MRT or LRT don’t only play with your PSP or some other devices, pay some attention to the one sit or stand beside you. Take some shoots and share if you can do it.

Suet Mee -

As I told you all that this trip I gonna celebrate my friend’s birthday. She is my church member and I did intro her to POD when the time we went out for dinner. She asked me a question, before she asks she sound so funny and shy to ask.

Suet Mee: “Emmm… mmm… mmm… David… actually I got a question for you… mmm… this question actually I wanna ask you few years before, but… I just wanna get the correct answer from you… actually someone told me but… just wanna make sure… mmm… (explanation for her question… it takes her about 5-10mins to finish this statement)”

Me: (continue look what on the rack, pretend not listening to what she talking) “…”

SM: (continue explain) “nah… you must answer me oh… I want you answer me honestly. No matter what is your answer I still will support you… ” (still no question come out but I know what she wanna ask…)

Me: “then??? What you wanna ask???” (still looking for something that I don’t know what I’m looking for)

SM: “Emmm… Are you GAY???… actually this I wanna ask you… (started to repeat what she said just now and keep on the “mmm” and “ahhh”…)

Me: “ooh… What make you think that I’m gay?”

SM: “nothing la… only they suspect you are… then I just wanna ask since we so close. I just wanna know… if you really (gay)… then I still can accept but…”

Something stopped me to answer her question. I try to know what make her felt that way.

After that another friend join us for the celebration then she said she would ask me some other time.

Two days later I meet her again, after I answer her question I thought that she will ask me a lot of question but she didn’t, she just said: “just wanna know why make you to change if you really (gay)…”

She thought that she get the confirm answer from me but after that I make her confuse again. At last she still can’t really confirm that I am gay or not.

POD –

This guy I really want to spank him. On Monday afternoon I received his SMS that he said this day he would be rushing for something and cannot join us for dinner. I told this to Derek and Derek give him a call when the time we reach the restaurant near his office.

Derek told me that POD actually heading to Sei-Yu but not in the office. (-_-lll)

I told POD, next time no matter what reason he give me I don’t think I’ll believe it anymore. This guy rushing to go back and done his work or rushing to shopping???

The Currency Exchange Rates…

Another 12 more days I’ll go to BKK, for sure I need to change some money to go for my shopping plan. In Malaysia the exchange rate really low. RM 1 to 8 Thai Baht. Last time RM1- 10Tbaht.

I changed it at SG since the rates is 1SGD to 22.10 thai baht. I changed RM 1k and I’ll bring another RM500 to BKK in case I finish the 10000 baht then I need to change more. Next two weeks I can start my shopping time at BKK.

Work another few more days then I’ll start on leave again. Now I only prepare myself for the trip but not prepare myself back to work... Hehehe...

Holiday~Holiday~Holiday (Part 1)

Few days never update my blog, holiday ma... :p



Just share something happened in this few days, start from the day before I come down to SG.



The day before (05, July) I start on leave I was 'busy' to settle some work at the office so that to make sure when the time I'm not around everything will be fine. Sometime I'm so worry to leave the branch to others cause they not really 'take care' the branch and sure leave me some 'shit' to follow up after my vacation, almost everytime.



After finished up everything and this night I meet with Mark and Rann (still remember them? For who attended my birthday celebration at the Curve). Ya, Mark come to KL for interview, he plan to have a job in KL. Actually he wish to continue his master study in KL, so he try to get a job here, after evrything settle then I think he will start his study.



This night we talk about 'Mark's Case'. If you all still remember that time I shared about a guy facing some family problem, the married guy with the three little kids, that's Mark. I asked actually what happened after he told his wife that he is PLU. He told me that his wife said sorry to him. What a surprise???



He told me that before this he really love his wife but everthing was changed when the second week she give birth to her first baby... She wanna devorce with him, I don't understand why, I think just because Mark facing some problem on his business. When the time 2001, that was the hardest time for him cause he totally fail on his business and he carry a huge amount of loan. Once again his wife wanna leave him.



Thanks God that someone helped him and borrow him some money to settle his business. After few years everything back to normal and his company make enough profit to let him settle all his loan. His wife didn't leave him that time but help him to take care the children. Why??? I don't know...



He said everytime he facing some problem in his life, then his wife will bring out the same question to him. Actually his wife didn't really help him to settle the problem but the other way round.



He can't get the support from the family, at this moment someone come into his life and listen to what inside him. This friend also a PLU and he spent some times to listen to Mark. When the time none of your family member support you but A PLU friend, this make the big changes in his life.



He started to look for his real love in PLU, he looks for someone who can share his life and support him. At this moment his wife started complain to her family and friends that her husband not really care about the family and the child, even to the children, she talked the same thing.



As I know that moment Mark pay 100% in his business, cause he know the business will be everything for the family. Beside of this he also facing some problem with his two brother, they make some mistake till Mark asked them to leave.



After I listened the story only I know why his wife ask for the forgiveness from him. Husband wish that his wife can support him no matter in what kind of situation, but not be the trouble maker for the family.



Now he try to arrange something for the children before he really sign for the 'document'. He wish that his wife can find someone who can take care of her then only he will let her go.

On the bus... (06, July)



This ride a cute guy sit beside me for the whole journey, he so GAY... before he on board, I met him when the time we get the bus no from the ticket counter.



He so busy with his phone and chat with few guys and a malay girl. Oppsss, too many details to show that I really pay a lot of attention to this guy. :p Before we leave BTS he make a call and talk for more than 15 mins, for sure the other side will be his 'good friend' cause the way he talk different from the other calls. The next two calls that he made one was in the half way and another when we reached Johor, Yong Peng. The last call he made to the Malay girl, cause I heard some girl voice (even that time I watching movie via my Ipod. Oh ya, he using the same Ipod as me but only 30GB. He just using it for a while when the time we entered SG, he sing when he listen to the Ipod, so thanks God he not using it for the last few hours... :P



Forget to mentioned, for the whole journey he only talk to me for once, when the time he wanna borrow my pen to fill in the 'white card' before enter to SG. He said: "Can I borrow your pen to fill in this form (holding the white card and smile, he looks so sweet when he's smile)... thanks... "



As I know this guy go to SG for the GSS (Great SG Sales), cause he keeps on mention that all the branded product very cheap, he wish to get the DKNY bag and some CK product. His phone got no roaming, I know this when the time he talk with his 'good friend' that he said he will call him when he reach his friend place and tell his 'good friend' don't wory when he cant get him with that no.



Too bad I can't take his photo since he stay so close with me and my K800i have to slide down the cover only can take photo... Not like the others camera phone can pretend to call or msging then take his photo, like someone did it on the KTM... :p

Dinner at Sakae Sushi....



This will be the first meal for me in this trip cause I miss the Salmon Skin so much... It really nice... some more it so cheap, only $1.90 @. Me and Tom wait for 15mins to get the table. If not because of the Salmon Skin, I wont sit inside this damn hot restaurant. It even worst than I take my meal at this Dai Pai Dong (Hawker Stall).



We so lucky cause the three plates of salmon skin we ordered was the last for that night, if someone order it before us then that night I'll be damn disappointed.

Creative - Other Usage of Wiper

This morning when I still not 100% refresh my brain to start work, this view totally wake me up. It exercises my face muscles too. This was what I met on the way I go to take taxi.

The guy who drives this car actually works at the cyber café downstairs of our apartment. My housemate said he quite good looking.

This was the creative way to dry up the stocking.

Next time when your balcony out of space to hang any stocking, try this way, it’s work. Proven…

Step Into My Door…

Soon or later our company will run this so call ‘Profit Sharing’ program. What happen is there will be a new area manager to in charge our branch. This new manager is the one now in charge our branch at Bangsar Shopping Center.

The PSP haven’t start yet but this guy start to take action. Yesterday he came to our branch and met my manager and me. The first and most important issue that he wanna talk to us is our leave.

Our branch setting is to make sure everyday we got at least 3 man power, whereby one optician and two staffs. Now he not agree with this setting, he wish that we can make it at least 4 person work at the same day. The problem is our branch only 5 of us working; I can’t make sure that everyday can be 4 of us working. Why? Every week each of us got 2 days off, so there definitely be two persons off in the same day. Some more our branch didn’t need that much of man power in a day.

My manager cannot agree with this issue… so we still will be 3 persons work in a day.

The next issue is our replacement leave. He started to stop us to take so many leave, cause he find out three of us (My Manager, Me and another optician) will take turn to clear our leave. He seems like not allow us to take the long leave.

When we talk about our pricing, he asks us don’t care too much for the profit margin but try to grab the sales. He said: “ Even the product (Solution) earn RM1 you still have to sell, sometimes just sell it at the cost price… Why you care so much?”

In this case we know that this so called “Area Manager” never work at the shoplot. In the past 20 years he only stay in shopping mall. (20 years stay in this company still earning the RM4k per month, so sad)

Shoplot, most of the customer will be the one staying nearby, means a lot of regular customer. The problem is the first price that you give will be the ‘permanent price’ for them. If you let them take the price whereby you only earn RM1 or at cost price then later every time they walk in will ask for that price, you cannot earn any money from this customer anymore. The worst part will be, when they introduce any friends or relative, they will ask for the same price. How we gonna make money? **Stupid idea to sell the product in cost price.

When we talk about the PSP, if we loss means we have to pay for the loss. In that case, our salary will not safe. He never concerns for the profit sharing part but we do, we only earn that little money, if branch loss more than 10k then all our salary will…

This area manager wanna change the way manage our branch. He tries to teach us how they organize the duty roster, the leave, the sales figure, this and that. Each of our branches got our own way to do these, some more we not the new branch. Now he tries to bring in his idea but none of us wanna follow him.

This will be the revolution for our branch and I’m not sure that I’ll follow him or not. He never stays at our branch and try to understand the way we do our work. This old guy too old to learn the new stuff and not listen to what we say.

My manager asked: who’s the manager for this branch? If I don’t have the right to in charge all this then why not you (Area Manager) come and take over my place? I just become the optician here?

History of Uranier

Today read about the history of Uranier (means Queer, or Urning , the word from Karl Heinrich Ulrichs).

Karl Heinrich Ulrichs (1825-1895)

He is the one who first talk about Uranier to the public; we can call him the father of the Uranier Revolution. In between 1864 and 1869, he published the articles to tell the world about gay.

I learn some new words…

Uranier (Urning) – means Gay

Dionaer (Dioning) – means Straight

Urningin – means Lesbian

Urano-Dioning – means Bisexual

In 1869, Karl Maria Kertbeny comes with the word of ‘homosexualitat’ means homosexuality.

Actually Karl Heinrich Ulrichs did a lot of works to shows the world about Gay’s life, Gay’s world… but the world still cannot accept his theory. 1880, he moved to Aquila, Italy and stay there until end of his life.

Even the world cannot accept him but he still doing his job for the revolution.

Now only I know that since 1864, Karl Heinrich Ulrichs started the revolution for us, our community history start there…

No history, No future…

We shall learn from the history and know how to facing the world in the future…

I start to read the new book from Mr OuYong…

It let me know more about Queer’s background and some story from west, actually they started the revolution long time ago but in east we still work hard to come out to our community…

Who will start the revolution in East? Or everyone just silent and wait?
