得不到的葡萄就一定是酸的吗？

我在想。。。

有些东西还是站在外围看会比较好。当你渗透进去里头看的时候就未必是“别有洞天”，很可能就是“不过如此”，或者“何必当初”的那份感觉。

小黑每次把借来的玩具都玩得比自己家的来得开心，每次都会做完功课就跟妈妈说去邻居小富家玩，就算小富不在，他也会一个人留在他家玩。妈妈看了，就决定今年生日给小黑买个跟小富家一样的玩具，好让小黑可以留在家玩。但是买了回来小黑也没有如妈妈期待的，他还是如常去小富家玩。

当妈妈问起时,小黑的回答是：“不懂啊~ 反正玩小富的就是比较开心。家里那个就放着嘛，又不是不要。。。” 妈妈：“。。。”

很多时候人就是如此，当是自己的时候，东西就没有那么可贵了。都会比较珍惜他人的东西。。。你会吗？？？

Survey

Can read what on the board mou?? Taken with my phone, so not that clear… PaiSeh to take it with my camera, that lady next to me looking at what I’m doing… second is, before I sempat take the proper photo of it, the ‘survey board’ already take back by the LengLui de.

 

This the first time I’m taking the domestic flight by FireFlyz, last time was taking it to Singapore. That was two years back. So consider some new experience the new budget airlines.

 

For me, overall not bad, just the same as you taking the AirAsia, local most successful budget airline, which now no longer ‘budget’ anymore, because they charge just like what other airline charge de, and too expensive to call ‘low cost’ de. So this FireFlyz still consider cheap, which I just pay RM188 for the return ticket to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, together with meals, 20kg of check-in luggage, and choosing the seats. For me, it just reasonable.

 

Another ticket I bought from the same airline, which destination is going to Kuching Sarawak, I just pay RM70 for the return ticket, of course I didn’t pick up the seat, and no check-in luggage too, which I think that ticket really cheap, maybe even cheaper than bus ticket.

 

Next time before I check the price from AirAsia, I think I’ll pick this airline be my first priority airline for my local flight, just don’t wish to spend too much for something not really worth it.

 

Wish that they will open more destination and let AirAsia know that they not the only budget airline, so that they not so sombong to give out more promotion. When there is fight in between them, we (the passenger) will win (safe) some money/promotion.

OMG… This FAT lady ah… WTH…

 

This afternoon spent few hours in Starbucks…. Spending time doing my blog, write something, edit some photos… By the time I wanna leave, I heard something interesting from this fat lady sitting next table.

 

In the beginning I’m not paying any attention to this lady, until she talk over the phone with one of her lady friend who’s birthday same as Lady Gaga, means today (28th March)…

 

I just sensor what she said and just share the point which I feel funny… (a bit angry too)

 

First, she said she don’t like local Chinese, oh forget to tell, She’s from Hong Kong… She said she don’t like local Chinese because we don’t like local Malay and didn’t treat them well… (WTH… what she knows about the relationship in between Chinese and Malay) Then she continue to tell her friend that she found that our salary here so low… until she cannot believe what she heard.

 

She said the salary of a cashier here even lesser than the pay of the toilet cleaner in HK. *then she laugh… so she said she don’t know how they gonna survive. She so proud of her salary and she said: “they wont believe how much I’m earning now…” (FYI for the outside, she looks not-so-rich, cheap T-shirt, not so high tech gadgets, old hand bag, cheap n old glasses, normal sport shoes, watch-normal)

 

Then she continue comment about some rich people (don’t know rich people from which country she’s refer to), they don’t know how to speak proper, they have no brain, they have no sense, and they’re really idiot…

 

BTW, the way she eat really disgusting lor… lol… so ugly…

Actually I got her face photo with me and I’m still thinking should I post it here… lol

 

I really cannot ‘tahan’ (stand) for this kind of people who don’t know what she’s talking. And before she comment anything, she should do some study first, and don’t speak this in the public too… I try to let her know that I actually know Cantonese, so I purposely call one of my friend and have a short chat with him…

 

She might not travel so often or, she don’t really know how much the pay is in some other country. She never comparing the living standard, or some other issue, but just the pay… I don’t think her pay can support her to own a house back home in Hong Kong, so she better don’t be so proud, because people here with low pay they still able to have their own place, so call freehold properties.

 

What a shame… go back you hometown lar FAT lady!!!!

A roof over our heads: Should we buy or rent?

PERSONALLY speaking, I have been faced with this question – to buy or rent a house – many times in my life. While I haven’t quite found a clear answer to that, I have decided to go with both. I have bought a house (or rather acquired one through financing) but am renting it out while I live in a rented premise with my family.

It is a known fact (if not compounded by our parents, and uncles and aunties) that one should, if they can, own a house. Generally speaking, renting somehow has some negative connotations. Ideally, we should buy a property early in our lives to take advantage of the longer loan financing period and if we can, try to settle the financing early.

While there may be no straight forward answer here, there are several pertinent questions we need to ask ourselves. Where do we see ourselves, five, 10, or 30 years down the road?

First, let us exclude investors from our category as they would naturally fall under the ‘buy’ status, and let us delve into the lives of the average man-on-the-street manifested in these four individuals – Robroy, Rizal, Rowena and Rossindra, who face a similar dilemma.

Robroy is 35 years old, married with two children, and works as an senior accountant. He works for a multinational company and therefore is required to travel, and at times is posted overseas for a few years. He also has chalked up some credit card debts from all the travelling, and have been delinquent in payments during his absence in Malaysia. Most recently, he was posted to New Zealand and is now considering migration.

Rizal is 30 years old, married with two wives and six children and is a businessman who owns several restaurants. His income is good, but it fluctuates, and he currently has some savings which he plans to invest. His big family helps him runs the business.

Rowena, is a 28 year old care-free person, whom after graduation could not hold a steady job, but is very happy with part-time jobs that give her the freedom to travel as she loves travelling. She has a boyfriend and plans to get married in a year or two.

Rossindra is 25 years old; she is a social science university graduate who has decided to dedicate her life helping the needy and healing the world. She is currently working under one of the Unesco projects in Myanmar. She gets paid pretty well, and with food and lodging fully provided at her workplace in Myammar, she saves almost all her salary. She recently took over the rental tenancy of her parents who live in a rented house, and is considering alternative options.

Of these four individuals, who do you think should buy a house or rent? The following represents my take, which of course, is open for discussion.

Robroy should rent, mainly because of his work commitment. His work requires overseas posting, which includes his family, especially since he is considering migrating to New Zealand. Furthermore, he has been delinquent in his credit card payments, and this may not go well for his loan financing if he wants to buy.

Rizal should buy, mainly because the nature of his income is uncertain and he has amassed some savings, which should aid in his down payment for a house. He had originally wanted to buy a house in cash but given the size of his family, he decided to buy a bungalow for which he has settled 50% of the payment while the remainder is financed through a loan. As he rents his restaurant outlets and the returns from his business is used to settle the rent, he is confident that buying a house is a much better option for him.

On the other hand, Rowena, quite clearly falls under the rent category. First, she does not have the financial ability and second, she has not quite decided what she wants to do in life. Furthermore, her part-time jobs may not provide her with a good credit standing with the banks. Her boyfriend whom she intends to marry happens to be rich.

So, naturally, if things go as planned, she may be able to solve, to some extent, her financial issues.

Rossindra, on the other hand is in a real predicament. While her position and work do not necessitate her to rent or buy a house, she is undertaking the obligation to pay rent for the house her parents stay in. She is considering the option of buying a small house and naturally, her parents are overjoyed to finally live in their own house.

Buying a house is usually, for many, a once-in-a-lifetime decision. So don’t rush into it. Take your time evaluating the possible scenarios and outcomes and of course, make sure you choose a suitable property. Whatever it is, you must try to avoid putting significant pressure on your financial status.

I’m still asking myself… Where to buy??? Which to buy??? When to buy???

It’s really a bit early, since still have about one month plus then only reach my Big DAY… But not only one but more than three people asking me what I want for this year birthday de…

which everyone may DREAM about it, or maybe some of them already get one for themselves… :) But these just what I dream to have in the future…

ya… Jizsaw Puzzle… now I’m doing the 7th puzzle after I finished the 2000pcs Disney puzzle collection. So sad, in KL only have few shops carry good-puzzle, with good quality one, so I consider myself their regular customer, because every two weeks I’ll visit the shop and look for new puzzle de… As I know, they only will bring in some new stock around May or June. Wish to have some nice and special puzzle, especially from Disney, Doreamon and Snoopy. :)

 

What really make me headache is the frame… sometimes the frame is even more expensive than the puzzle…

 

Next… this…

iPhone??? Obviously… but I still worry on my hand it will become two pieces… because I’m lasak sangat… :P Everyone holding one on their hand, of course I wish to have one too, but I didn’t get it because I don’t wish to spoil it when I drop it lo…

so I changed my target to something cheaper, and maybe more tough for me to use… like this by Sony Ericsson…

Love this phone not only because it’s cheap, but it just nice to meet with my needs, small, with big button, because I always type msg, so I need bigger button. It comes with WiFi too, so if I didn’t bring my netbook with me, I still able to login with my phone.

 

These two new model should launch in Malaysia by March, but I only saw it since last two weeks, and I only saw J10, I think J20 still on it’s way. This two model is just below 1k, so I think it’s more affordable for me.

 

And this year I wish to have this…

to be upgraded…

I think about two years I never upgrade my lovely camera de, after so many new stuff coming out, but I still having my Nikon D80, with 18-200mm tele-zoom-lens.

 

I wish that I really can get the lens which I targeted for so long, 10-20mm lens, which one of the super wide angle lenses I wish to own.

 

 

Another in my list will be this…

          

I should get one of these during that time in SG, last year, because I don’t think I can these model in KL…

 

That’s all I can think for now… :)

What I really wish to do is going for a trip with my loved one… which I still waiting for the time to come…

For Hand Use ONLY

I found this sign on top on the dryer in each of the toilet, in the complex I’m working… I wonder how the story start before they put this sign. Too MANY people use this machine for some other purpose??? people dry their hair?? Clothes?? or maybe leg??!! :D The picture on the machine already shows that this machine is just a ‘HAND’ dryer…

Stop Disturbing…

I cannot see the point of carrying a folder walk around and telling others that you’re from xxx association, and wish that others taking out notes from their pocket by paying for some unknown purposes…

 

Haiz… seeing all these people try to approach public to do good thing by some donation, telling that the poor one need this little money to pay for the wheel chair, or some living cost. Not telling that all of them are cheating but how can we know they really use all the fund they collected to help those needed???

 

I don’t really trust them who just carry one name card, a letter and some photos, asking money with the ‘smiling’ face. If I really want to make good thing, I rather use some money buy something needed and pass to them myself. Money can make something good, but at the same way it cause criminal too…

 

Today sitting in this Oldtown White Coffee, counting how many times this two fellers coming in, with the same faces, telling the same thing to every customer: Hi, I’m actually helping xxx center, today we just wish to ask for your help… … … this is my permit… this is my name card… this is my NRIC no… and all these the photo…

 

Wish that they coming out with some new idea, telling some new stories…

 

Next time should make a board writing: If you try ask for money, please stay away from me. Stop disturbing me to enjoy my coffee…

 

Don’t Want to Come Back

This trip I coming back for 7days, whereby I go nothing to do for the one whole week. What I did was just staying at home, finish up the movie series which I always cannot finish it when I’m in KL, maybe too busy with so many works and activities, so this the good time for me to finish  all the Hong Kong TV series.

Another good activities that I can do every time I come back is dinner… Why dinner? because everyone only able to spend time with me after work, so dinner time always good for gathering and meeting up with old friends. That’s why we always yam cha after dinner, and this is one of the reason why I easy gain weight lor… LOL…

 

Last year new year 3weeks… TOO long for me… This year new year 7days… still TOO LONG for me… Thinking next year maybe just come back for 5days is good enough. Less amount of days = less meals, less fats, less…

 

When my last reason to come back is gone, I don’t think I’ll come back anymore… 

BIG Ass

Can you see how this guy sitting on the chair??? His BIG ass needs two chair only can fit enough… XP… I think this guy Kung Fu sure very ‘geng’ one… because he can sit so well on that two chairs…

Early One…

 

Santa reached my home early this year… :P

Actually these the early gift from the special one…

First is the 2010 Planner from Starbucks. I try hard to get one from Starbucks by purchasing 11 drinks (at least Grande size), I almost reach there, but who knows, I get it before I make it. On my card, I still need to purchase another 2 more then I’ll get the second one.

 

The Second one is the Necklace, another accessories in my collection. Nice. Actually it’s the combination of two rings. Wonder take it out then can wear it on my finger or not…

 

Third one, which I like the most… BAG!!! the backpack, which I mention before (I didn’t mention the design lar… :P) I like it, because it have a compartment for laptop, Ipod, card holder, and some small compartment for keys and etc. Very big, now can use it to go to work de… Hehehe… Like going to school.

 

Thanks for the lovely gift from the lovely one… When others still updating their wish list, I already started to post the gift I receive de… :P

Mission… Done…

At last, I get everything from the list de. My Christmas shopping come to the ending part de. Now need to pack it up and ready to pass it on the Christmas day.

 

Just a very simple list already cost me more than half of my salary, not cheap ler, haiz… but still have to buy. Only this year didn’t buy mum any gift, but save the money to buy her new bed set, so that have to wait for me to go back during Jan.

 

The funny part is, someone asks me to update my wish list, so that he/ she can use it as reference to get me return gift. hmmm… wish list…

 

My wish list… Hard ler… I also don know what I want…

 

A bag, (Cheryl wanna scold me liao…) I need a backpack, coz now everyday I need to walk back and sometimes I’m tired to carry a sling bag. Cheryl did bought me a new bag, but that one more suitable for me to use it for casual wear.

 

Necklace, I still remember that the one I wearing always is from my ex, my first ex, whereby it was 6yrs back. I still like to wear it because it’s simple and easy to match. Now I’m looking for the same type too, if talk about some other necklace, I do have a lot, but not the one can wear always.

 

Sunglasses, I know, you will think this shouldn’t be inside my wish list, because almost everyday I’m working with it, but too bad I still cannot get one new one. I wish to get myself a new pair of sunglasses, because my old RayBan, two years old, coating started to peel off de. I’m still looking for the sporty one. And I know, the sunglasses I’m looking is always not CHEAP… :P

 

New Handphone, this just something I wish to get for myself, because I know it’s too expensive for others to get me this. One of my phone is not good anymore, the casing totally broke and I wish to get a new one to replace it. (To change a new casing cost me RM160, so why not I get a new phone?) I didn’t buy one not only because this month I spent a lot to buy gift for others, but because I bought myself a new netbook last month, so I have no money to get a new phone… Wait, wait until I finish the installment for my netbook then I’ll consider to get a better phone.

 

Sportswear, I think I need some new clothes for gym, I think two years I never get some new sportswear, one reason is because in these two years I seldom go to gym, so… sometimes is hard for me to choose what to wear, because most of it are looks old de… color also… maybe I should do some shopping for that. :)

 

Cannot think anymore, or whatever I think also will be expensive, so no need to list it down de… I biggest wish list for this year (or maybe next year too) is to set up my little studio… (Too expensive de…)

Always Give Thanks

Stuck in the LRT station, because the rain not stop yet. Praying inside the heart, wishing someone to rescue me, but of course at the end still have to walk back myself. But, He heard me, He heard my prayer, He lets the rain getting smaller for 10mins, allow me to walk back myself. After home, I heard the rain start once again.

 

I know that when no one can help me, He’s always be there for me. Remember the word of F.R.O.G (Fully Rely On God) and P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happen). Just some simple thing happened in life, just let me realize that sometimes I forget to pray.

 

Always telling that trust no one, because anyone can betray anyone anytime, even the loved one. BUT I forget He’s always the trusted one, and He’s always listen.

 

I should Stop and Think, get back the direction that I should be.
