Soul Mate

How often you can meet the soul mate in your life? Some people looking for it, some of them ask for it… when the time is come then you will meet your what you should meet.

Everything happen just because the click.

No one will know who can be the one, but if you never try to open yourself then no one can be the one. When you think that you can trust your friend and you willing to share, he or she maybe the one.

Open up yourself.

Not that easy to share some private stuff, especially the one all these years no one know about it. I know open up yourself is not an easy job, whereby you worry that person may hurt you after this. Pick up the right one then only unlock the key of your heart.

Not the close one.

Soul mate always not the one beside you, sometime partner is a bit hard to be the one to share, or you may still keep something when you share with him. This shows that we not honest? Nope, sometimes white lie can keep us away from a lot of trouble. :P

Talk.

No one will know what you think and how you feel if you never open up your mouth. Not everyone can read your mind like the police guy in Heroes, (I love this series.) so why don’t you just tell and at least people know what you really want, and the reason why you unhappy.

Appreciate.

When you really found one in your life, please do what ever to keep this soul mate. Not saying that to do some bad thing but try your best to keep this relationship. Don’t let something silly to spoil this relationship. You might not get another soul mate in the rest of your life.

Disappointed

This evening received a very sad call from Jane. This afternoon our portfolio reached travel agency office, we’re the last group to summit the photos. (but still early, because the due date should be on the 1^st of February.) They held the meeting after work, means that all the staff need to OT to look for all the production.

I don’t know what the comment for the rest of the group but Jane’s friend told us that they spent a lot of time on two teams, one is our production and another one will be the Sabah team.

What so sad is that the editor complaint that our photos not sharp enough (the one he mention is the one that I purposely make it blur at the side and let the object clear.) I’m so disappointed that the editor doesn’t really know how to look for the good photos. If you not professional in this then you should ask for some opinion from others.

I’m so disappointed that my photos summit to someone doesn’t really know how to depreciate. Sad Sad Sad… Thanks God that this evening another photographer from the local newspaper in Kuantan join them for the discussion, the photographer love the photos we take and he tell the editor that this only called the photographer production. (I’m so happy with this comment, at least someone stand on our side.)

The editor didn’t give much comment since the photographer more professional then him in photos. Now the last decision will made by the editor, he’s the only one who marks for the article, if our article cannot match with his taste then sure we’ll lose the opportunity for the second round. So sad.

The final result will be on this coming Friday. OMG… before I go back for my CNY holiday…

Tired...

Long time I didn’t update my post… Too busy… came back from Cameron on 24^th (I’ll re-post the post for the Cameron trip when I’m ‘a bit’ free.), then start to work for the photos summit to the travel agency.

Jane and me, each of us pick 300 out from all the photos we taken during the four days in Cameron. I need to choose from the 1500++ files then edit it. This only the first stage for the photo selection part, we still need to let our lecturer to choose 300 out from the 600photos. Yesterday our lecturer spent 3hours to pick up the photos and correct our article.

Article, I’d spent the whole day to type in all articles, which we need to tell what actually happened in Cameron.

Photos, can’t remember two or three nights I spent to edit the photos. Filter for the first time, the second time, and the third time… then only I edit the photos that I need to summit.

Portfolio, this few days we keep on design how to do the portfolio, actually this is not requested by the editor of the travel agency but just because we wish to summit more photos so most of the photos in the portfolio are not included in the DVD that we send to them.

Competitor, one of the team, if I’m not mistaken is the Penang team was disqualifying from this competition since they break the rules. They bring another friends with them (Their team is only two members) for the trip and when the editor knows this happened, this team no needs to summit anything.

How the travel agency knows the team member bring extra company? Actually each of the team did receive the hotel voucher from the travel agent before the trip start, and we need to use this voucher to check in the hotel. Then the hotel will use the voucher and call to the travel agent, and inform them how many people checked in.

Luckily the friend who plans to follow us on this trip canceled last minute just because she can’t apply her leave to follow us. If not then we will be the second team to disqualify.

Now our DVD is ready, our articles are ready. The portfolio under last process, decorate it, then everything will be ready. Jane’s brother will help us to bring it back to Kuantan, by tomorrow morning. Wait for another week then we will know what the result for this round of the competition.

1st Day of My Cameron Trip

I’m almost missed my bus to Cameron Highland, I wake up late this morning, around 7.45, whereby my bus is 8.30am.

Thanks God that I still can make it. I didn’t miss the bus but I leave something behind, I forget to bring the tripod with me. Now this trip we got no tripod, spoiled my plan whereby I planned to do the panorama but now… Haiz…

8.30am, the bus moved… around 12.30pm we reach Tanah Rata in Cameron Highland. Tanah Rata is a small town in Cameron, extremely small.

Cameron Road almost kills Jane, not only Jane but for them who cannot stand for the ‘zip-zap’ road…

Our hotel – The Cool Point, just next to the bus terminal, everything will be easy for us.

This trip our main problem will be the transportation, we didn’t drive and the public transport system on this highland not really good. Wherever we go we need to take taxi, this’ll increase our cost for the trip.

The hotel, The Cool Point Hotel, an old hotel, I’ll just give 1.5 star for this hotel, I think some of you may give no star for this kind of hotel. It Just slightly better than the hostel only.

Right after we unpack our stuff then only we go out for our lunch. We walk around the town, actually just 4-5 block shoplot, and look for the right restaurant. Food will be one of the topics we need to cover during this trip. We need to introduce about the food in this highland.

“Hong Kong Restaurant”, the first place we try out for our lunch. In the review, some one comment that this place serves with nice steamboat, but we didn’t try it out since we plan to try the steamboat during our dinner.

The food in this restaurant is not that bad but they serve it a bit slow. We wait for almost 20mins; this is no good to keep our customer to wait for so long since not that much of customer in the restaurant.

After our lunch then we decided to walk around in this town and see what we can get. So surprise that to see this Convent School. (See the photo) it looks like a church, or maybe just because before this it was a Catholic School, then they convert it to S.K (National Primary School).

First thing I find out from this school is this board…

Walau… Only top students can study here? Even thought it’s only for top students but no need to put the BIG notice…

This school really nice, but it still looks like a church… a very old church.

In this school got a lot of flowers, different kinds of flower. I can’t name it all, I can’t get the name for all the flowers that they have.

After visited the Convent School, we come to this Café – The Best Bakery Café, the shoplot next to the Sunday Market in Tanah Rata.

This café get the good comment from the visitor. A small little café, serve some cake and different kind of bread. On the menu, beside the ordinary beverage, they still got another type of nice and special coffee – Sky Fruit Coffee. I tried it out, not bad, the taste so different, just like they add some herbs into it. The ingredients for the coffee included a kind of fruit, but I’m not sure what kind of fruit it is.

I like the Strawberry Cheese cake they serve and the Strawberry Tart too. The price is freaking cheap, the cheese cake, same size with the one in Secret Recipe, only RM4.50, the strawberry tart only RM1.40@. When the time aunty knows that we will put her café into our portfolio, aunty treats us with an extra strawberry tart. I like the cheese cake, so yummy, and the strawberry tart.

The next point we visit after out tea break in The Best Bakery Café will be another town in Cameron Highland – Brinchang, another small town, just 6KM away from Tanah Rata.(Taxi fare RM6, fixed price, all the taxi in town not using meter, most of the taxi here more than 40years old, you can’t get one in KL.)

This will be the new town in Cameron Highland; most of the buildings are new. In this town got a Cactus Farm and a Strawberry Farm.

We only got half an hour to visit it since they close at 6pm, when the time we reach here was 5.30pm.

Nightlife in Cameron

This night we visit the Glossy Café @ Tanah Rata, same row with Maybank.

Not thing special about this café, we come here just to take some drinks and do our discussion about our plan for the coming days.

The nightlife in Cameron really… BORING… they got pub and some café but not so happening.

Bottomless Drinks

I should write this post right after the party, but the next morning after I off to Cameron Highland, so not enough time… NOw only I post it...

Actually I shouldn’t cari pasal during the party, but I really mad with the service given by the restaurant. That night we celebrate Janvier’s 27^th Birthday in Italiannies @ The Curve. I think most of us like the food they serve; they serve the good food with the reasonable price.

What happened this night will totally change my mind; I’m swear I’ll never step into this restaurant again. (I may go some other branches, I like the one in The Garden… got a lot of cute guys… =P)

On the menu… Bottomless Drink – Soft drinks, Ice Lemon Tea, …

Case 1 – When JL ask one of the waiter to refill the drinks, I think JL ordered the Ice Lemon Tea, starting this waiter tells that after 10pm they got no refill for the drinks. Then Paul tell him that our watch shows that it’s only 9pm. Then he got no other excuse but just refill the drinks for both of them.

Case 2 – Around 9.40pm, I ask another waiter (Not the one before…) to refill my drinks. This time the waiter tells me that he cannot refill for me… with no other reason. Yes, with no reason. I thought that I’m over the time of refill, but I’m not.

Me: Why you tell me cannot refill???

Waiter: Emmm… Just cannot…

Me: But why??? Should it come with at least a reason?

Waiter: No… Just cannot refill anymore…

Me: If really cannot refill then please change your menu… Don’t name it “Bottomless Drink”…

After that SK just asks this idiot to get us some sky juice and he serve us with the bad face. WTF…

This not the first time I visit this restaurant and it not the first time I order the same drink… if they not happy just because we keep on refill the drink then we should choose another restaurant, and let that restaurant to earn the 600-700 from us. Even thought we not paying 600 for the bill but they still should serve us as what they stated on the menu. Don’t tell me that I order the Salmon steak but you serve me with the Chicken, just because the Salmon is too expensive… (If the restaurant really does this then I’ll ask them to close the restaurant since rent for the restaurant is not that cheap…)

I’m sure that there got no rules to tell the customer that no refill after 10pm, I remembered last time we take our meal there until 11pm we still refill for our drink, the same drink – Ice Lemon Tea.

I’m not saying that I complain just because I’m not willing to pay for another glass of Ice Lemon Tea, but just because they cheated, there got no remarks on the menu that no refill after 10pm or no refill after how many times of refill….

After this Italiannies in the Curve will be out from the list of restaurant to go...

All in the Same Time

12.00 AM in the morning, just started to do my work with my desktop… my housemate walk in and as me to company her to send SH, another housemate to UM Hospital. This gal having some problem in her stomach, she keeps on saying that her stomach not feeling well. At the end the doctor suspect her stomach got infection or ulcer, and arrange the time for her to do the scanning. Poor gal.

Reach home around 2AM, tonight cannot do anything for my portfolio de. Damn tired. Actually planned to finish the first article for my portfolio since I write it (I called it ‘Dream’) half way.

I wish that I could finish the main article for the portfolio before I leave to Cameron, if not then sure I can’t finish the portfolio before I go back for CNY… thinking should I bring back the portfolio and do it doing CNY. (Since at home I got not thing to do)

I need to ready everything before I go to Cameron just because when the time I come back from Cameron I need to process the photos in four days time, if I can’t make it on time then everything will… all my other trip will only happen in my dream…

Now I pray for the good weather when the time we in Cameron, without the good day then sure we can’t summit the good photo. Too bad that this time we will miss the night market in Friday and Saturday (We go on Sunday and come back on Thursday), so annoyed, I’m thinking beside of Friday and Saturday, other days got any night market or not? At least let me take few photos to promote the night market.

Jane and me feel that this time we really facing a lot of situation on this trip. Not only the pressure from the travel agency but something happened to our company too. This day Jane receives the call that inform her to transfer to another branch and take challenge in the new branch, in PJ State. Then I’m facing my problem too in my branch. I’m not sure that we can really focus on the photography part, if all these issue still in our mind. The only thing I can do is pray for it.

I just can give 2.5 stars out of 5 for these two movies, not a bad chicken rice, but not the best food…

In the Name of the King – war, war, war… only can see the human fight with the non-human. They didn’t state it clear why the magus didn’t serve the king and why the bad magus can stay in the same place with the king… I thought I missed the first part of the story but… haiz…

You must listen to what the magus tell you… Just like nowadays a lot of people listen to the FengSui Teacher (so called teacher… ) for everything, included the time you go to do your big business in toilet… (WTF…)

Drag a guy from the village and tell the King this is his lost son for more than 30years… can you believe this? I think I need a DNA test before I believe it’s true.

American Gangster – shot, shot, shot… shot what ever you don’t like… crazy people… For them, that’s the only way to use the gun. (Gangster ma… what you expect?)

“Excuse me, I’ll right back…” (walk out) “hey guy, where is the money?” (BANG…) “This the 20%…” (Put the money beside the dead guy… then walk back to the restaurant… sit down… clean the hand…) “Where I stopped just now?”….

WALAU… So Drama… macam tu pun boleh… OMG…

Another crazy part will be the guy who shot his wife just because his wife run out from the house and he try to stop her.

This movie a bit boring especially when the time they catch all policeman who involve in this, I thought that more than 60% of the police will lockup…

One question after the movie: What will you do with the gun if you have it?

Run out of stock

I’m not sure why so fast the stocks for the new design of this Skinxwear Underwear can out of stock. Another underwear shopping since that QR show me that Skinxwear come with another two new design, one with sexy colour and another design just to match the season – CNY underwear.

Usually I won’t buy the CNY design but Skinxwear did it well on the material. I like the material. Too bad, I can’t even get one of it… OUT of STOCK…

They didn’t keep much stock for that or too many gay people wear the same brand??? WTF… this not the first time I’m facing the same problem. Remember the last design I’m also shop for more than 4 different branches only I get what I want. (The Undershop, Jusco, MetroJaya, Isetan, Parkson…)

If they (Parkson Sg Wang and Isetan Lot10) got stock for the new design that I want, for sure that I could get 4-6 new undies to my collection… (Oh no… need another drawer for my collection liao) so annoyed…

Tomorrow I’ll try to go Jusco in MV see they got keep stock or not, cause sometimes I find out that MV also easy to run out of stock… The best place to shop for this will be The Undershop in BTS (regular there… so confirm… XP) some more they got better sales service.

SK: Pls don’t stop me to buy more ooh… (That day kena banned liao… :P)

I hate Marketing Department

My day become bad after received the call from HQ… The marketing department called. A guy name Lawrence, a new Marketing guy, join our company not more than 2months…

As what my friend told me about him, he actually a reporter for the CEO, anything from us then he will do a report for him. I know this will be his job but his work should help us to settle our problem but not hand up the problem to the CEO. I’m sure that after the CEO read the report sure all the branch in the list will die, soon, and my branch will be in the list too.

I hate the way this guy talking, he just act like he so professional in this industry and know so well about this company. We the one who work with this company for more than five years know what exactly happen, but now he the one who tells me what the situation of the company.

The same question he ask me as what the CEO asked me before him: what the main problem for the branch and why cannot hit the sales target.

I hate to answer this question, especially to the one who never visits our branch, who didn’t study about the market in my area. They always thought that my place should get more sales since a lot of rich people staying in this area.

I directly told this guy that I wish someone to take over my place and I just want to be the optician in this company, when I finish my contract then I’ll leave this company. I directly told him that my contract would end up by this year.

I don’t think this guy will help much to settle our problem, since he told me that he’s too busy to handle 80++ branches, he said he even got no time to visit our branch. They only monitor us with the figure we send everyday.

This guy only gives me two choices: One, when the agreement mature then closes the shop. Second, look for someone to replace me and see what ‘miracle’ they can make to this branch.

Honestly, I’m too tired to work with this company. They always do something against the law (They didn’t pay the EPF and SOCSO) and against us (They didn’t pay us…).

The theme for the company: (Chinese said) Want the horse to run but don’t wish to feed the horse. 又要马儿跑，又要马儿不吃草.

Credit Card

Today received the letter attached with the new credit card from CTBank. They offer me to upgrade my classic card to gold card. (Yes, I take the offer…)This is how the bank running their business. Actually I’m only start to use their card since six months before, and now they upgrade it.

This is how the bank to make money, when they give you more credit limits and they expect you to use more on their credit card. Another way they make money will be on the annual fees for the card. The card center told me that I get the first year annual fees free on this gold card and another two years will be charge at the same rates as the classic card, but after that (the 4^th year) they will charge me RM195++ per annual. I don’t think I’ll continue using it if they didn’t waive the annual fees. The other credit card I’m using all “free for life”.

I still remember someone told me that he got more than 14credit card with him, whereby most of it sent by the bank ‘automatically’. Thanks for Bank Negara, most of the bank can get our info from there and start to send us the offer letter. They ready the card for you and you just need to activate it, no need to wait for the card, no need to get it from the bank, and no need any application form. Too express.

Nowadays credit card just like the member card, you use it to pay just because you want to get the privilege from the merchant, different merchant different credit card.

No matter how many credit cards you using now, remember to clear your payment, don’t let the bank to earn money from you…

Rules and Regulation

Another email from Travel H&T. Now they officially tell us the rules and regulation.

The secretary tells, total got 8teams will take part in this competition (before this we get the news was 6teams… more competitor liao…), and they set the due date on 30^th of this month. (Post from KL to Kuantan take another two days), this means that we only got 4days and a half to ready the photos and the article for the trip. This really challenge us…

Luckily last night did discuss this issue with my lecturer, and take some information from the Travel Mate Magazine. (One of my lecturers is the editor for the magazine.) Our lecturer agree to help us pick up the right photo and go through our article before we summit it. (He also the journalist from the local Chinese newspaper) This will be the great news for us since we the beginner in this industry and we really need someone to guard us.

Continue about the rules of the game, the Cameron trip (for the other team will be other places in peninsular Malaysia, eg Malacca, Penang and other places) will be the part one on the game, after this end up they will choose two team to join in the second part, whereby will be the Cambodia trip. Before this the information we get will be after this Cameron trip then we will know we got the chances to get the contract for one year or not.

Some more they want to make sure that all the team member will take part in this trip, they requested us to take the group photos with the travel location be our background. The purpose of this will only to make sure all team members work it out together.

We find out why the editor so concern for the article, this will be related with which company he came from before this. Previously he’s the editor for the local Chinese newspaper in Kuantan, so lucky that Jane worked with him before this when the time Jane still the practical student in their publisher. At least Jane knows what this guy wants.

Now I really need more info about Cameron, so that we can do it well.

Power of Google-ing

Today I start to work for the coming Cameron Trip. Google done a great job on my work. Google the info that I need, google for the map, google for the review, google…

This time we not only need to take the photo for the famous place/activities in Cameron but we also need to find out some other place whereby other travel agency seldom promote. This will be the big challenge for us.

Our Travel Agency treat us so well, they bank-in extra RM250 as our transport fees in Cameron, just because we request them to look for the car rental service in Cameron. Now our transportation issue done, and we no need to worry about it de.

They let us stay at the 3star hotel in Cameron – The Cool Point Hotel. I thought that they only would provide us the cheap apartment. Now I’m wondering they’ll get us one single room or two rooms…

Anyone can give us some idea where to go/visit in Cameron? Or share me your experience in Cameron…

BIG News

OMG…OMG… I can’t wait to share this big news with you all… actually this day I got another post to share about the movie- Rendition, but now I think this big news come over everything (for me).

Just now when I halfway replying my email, suddenly one email sent to my inbox, it’s the email sent by the secretary of the travel agency. As what the friend told us before, they want us to take a tour to Cameron Highland, and ready 300 photos for them. What surprise me was not that Cameron Trip, but is the plan they will arrange for us after they confirm us.

OMG… OMG… I really hope that I can go to all this places… I love travel, last time I can’t go just because my financial problem, but now I got the chance to go, plus I can do what I really like – photography, during my trip… Pray for me. (Thanks for who pray for us before this…)

Finally Done

Spending the whole afternoon stick the photos on the black board, ready the photos to the interior company. They requested us to stick all the photos on the board with all the measurement, must follow the measurement because some of the photos they need to fit it into the frame.

Ready this job and waiting for the next job to come. One of the travel agency from Kuantan may want us to take some photo for them. As the news from the friend who intro us to her company said, the boss accept the portfolio Jane ready and now they plan to let us do another portfolio for them before they arrange the overseas job for us.

They arranging us to take the photo to introduce Cameron Highland, this will be a challenge for me and Jane because they want us covers not the places but the local food too. Now Jane and Me headache with the transportation when the time in Cameron. Anyone know that there got car rental service?

Hopefully we can get the chances to work with this company because the next trip maybe will go to Cambodia for 7days trip. Sounds so good, but actually I just worry that we hardly to arrange our leave in the current job.

Now we just ready ourselves and wait for the email from the company, then our job will start. :) Pray for us.

Stock Take

This morning come to work so early, 8.30am reach office. Every year got one day we need to come early for the annual stock take. I hate stock take, check the barcode by barcode that may cause me get early reading problem.

What so lucky is that this year our company got no enough audit to check our stock and this make our job much much more easier than the previous year. Previously they check item by item but this year they only check it randomly, just pick up few items then check it.

Pity the new audit, because he need to cover 5 branches by his own and when the time he reach our branch was around 2pm and we only the second branch that he visit, still another 3 more branch to go. Last year each of the branch got one or two auditor to check the stock and each of the team only go for one branch. Here we know this company really lack of manpower, even the auditor too.

Talk about manpower, after the middle of the month, my branch really lack of manpower liao, Amour will go back soon and we only leave 4manpower in the branch. Now I worry that I may get more job from ‘outside’, and I need to take more leave to settle my work, then will be a problem for me to arrange the duty roster de. Haiz…

New Office in Hostel

This day busy to setup my new desktop, bought this desktop just to do my photography work, and there will be a new ‘office’ in my hostel.

19” LCD really big enough for me to check all the photos, make sure it sharp and clear to print. My new printer only be here another one more week, ordered it from Penang, through a friend there to get the cheaper price. Not only the printer but also the photo paper too.

After this I can print my own photo by myself, save the money and safe my photo too. Don’t wish someone to delete my photo again; even they called themselves as the ‘professional’. Save the money just because the cost to print it my own will only cost me RM0.21- RM0.25. (Print at the camera shop will cost RM0.35-RM0.40, for 4R-size)

I can’t really believe that suddenly a lot of changes in my life. Last time I’m always got enough time to enjoy my life with the movie, shopping and lepak somewhere else, but now I always got not enough time to finish my work.

Pity my roommate, every night I’ll do my work until late night and this may disturb him, but he cannot complain anything…

First Day in 2008

What a boring day for me since the first day of the year I’m in the office for the whole day… Sad… the rest enjoy this holiday with each other, but me…

Not so happening in my life in this first day of the year… Does it mean that the following days will be the same??? Huh… Why so sad… :(
