This Company...

First day come back to work then need to facing the technical problem again… *haedache… this is what you’ll always facing when you work with the ‘poor’ company. This is not the biggest news that I get after I start my work… the biggest news was the CEO called to all the branches in PJ area and scold the manager.

My Friend, CSC, who in charges the branch in Kelana Jaya, he’s facing the same problem. The CEO wants him to achieve the target, if not CSC will be terminate by the CEO. His target is slightly lower than mine, 50k, but that area is a bit hard to hit that target, normally they only can hit less than 30k. Plus, two out of three staff from that branch resigned and now only two persons work in it. Poor guy… I’d hope that he would be ok.

This crazy guy try to terminate all the staff who didn’t obey his order (the one didn’t sign for the profit sharing), for the one who signed the commitment then he’ll starts to deduct the salary and commission. Under the profit sharing, all the staff considers having the partnership with the company and no EPF and SOCSO will pay after that.

Actually the profit will only works when the company able to provide enough stock and support for the branch. Most of our branches got no supply for the frame and sunglasses, some more a lot of technical problem for the lenses and contact lens. Under this kind of situation how to achieve our target? And how to increase the sales? Can’t even fight with our competitor.

The CEO knows what he wants but he doesn’t really consider what happened in the branch. One of the branches in KL, starts operation from early of February after renovation, merchant only provide them less than 300 frames but want them to do 50k during this low season. (February and March consider the low month for our company since all the holidays past, market need one to two months to recover the purchasing power, I’m not sure that the CEO understand this since almost 10-15years he never steps out from the office.)

This afternoon met with one of the supplier and we’d shared a lot about what happened in our company. Every time the supplier stops the supply and the CEO will call and say: “You all don’t try to use this technique (stop the supply) to force me to pay, I’m really don’t like you all to do so…* bla bla bla…”

With the same reason, some of the supplier stops our account and reject to provide us the stock, unless we pay them in cash term. The funny thing is one of the salesmen who in charge our company resign with the reason he cannot hit his sales target because our company didn’t pay. Few months later, he got no income and have to resign from his post. Not only the staff in this company facing the difficulty but the supplier too.

Another boring post about this bad company…
